Toowoomba (nicknamed ‘The Garden City’) is a city in South East Queensland, Australia. It is located 127 km (79 mi) west of Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane. With an estimated district population of 128,600, Toowoomba is Australia’s second largest inland city.
Directions:
From Brisbane/East: When arriving in Toowoomba, turn right at the top of the range. After turning, follow the road to the left in to Margaret St. Watch out for us about 500 hundred metres on the right.
From Warwick/South: Continue along Ruthven Street (New England Highway) until Margaret Street. Turn right and continue through the CBD, past Queens Park and watch for us about 300 metres on the left.
From Dalby/West: Continue along Bridge Street after arriving in Toowoomba until Ruthven Street. Turn right at Ruthven Street and follow the signs to Brisbane. This will take you across to Hume Street and then left in to Margaret Street past Queens Park. Watch for us on the left about 300 metres.
From Crow’s Nest/North: Continue along Ruthven Street (New England Highway) until the left turn to Brisbane. Follow the signs to Brisbane until you turn left in to Margaret Street and drive past Queens Park. After Queens Park, watch for us about 300 metres on the right
If travelling by coach, Greyhound Australia operates many interstate services from across Australia. Alternatively, flights can be caught from any major capital city to Brisbane and then either a coach or air service from Brisbane to Toowoomba.
If travelling by car, there are many interconnecting highways which feed into the Darling Downs region where Toowoomba is situated.
